The 2024 Major Aircraft Industry-Education Integration Alliance Talent Sub-Alliance Council Meeting and the Major Aircraft Vocational Education Development Conference convened in the city of Ordos on June 5.

The three-day conference will focus on advanced assembly processes, metal sheet manufacturing, composite material manufacturing technologies, and the construction of related academic programs. Discussions will also cover high-level talent training, dual-system education, and the overall development of vocational education in the major aircraft sector.

During the opening ceremony, the second group of council members for the Major Aircraft Industry-Education Integration Alliance Talent Sub-Alliance was announced, and the resource-sharing platform for the talent sub-alliance was officially launched.

A significant highlight of the event was the signing of a school-enterprise cooperation agreement between COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co and seven educational institutions.

The Major Aircraft Industry-Education Integration Alliance Talent Sub-Alliance is a collaborative, open, and non-profit organization.

It was formed by enterprises, public institutions, social organizations, applied higher education institutions, and vocational schools related to the major aircraft manufacturing industry.

The alliance aims to enhance the vocational education system, improve the training models for skilled personnel in the aircraft manufacturing industry, and optimize the platform for industry-education integration and cooperation.

By leveraging the dual roles of schools and enterprises, the alliance seeks to jointly cultivate exceptional engineers and industry talent, thereby providing robust support for the scaled and serialized development of major aircraft.
