First return China-Europe freight train enters Ordos Comprehensive Bonded Zone

Ordos' first return China-Europe freight train recently successfully entered the Ordos Comprehensive Bonded Zone, seamlessly integrating the bonded zone's tax advantages with the convenience of China-Europe freight train transportation.

In April this year, Ordos launched its first China-Europe freight train, which was loaded with over 200 metric tons of automotive parts and daily necessities. This train successfully traveled via the western route to Almaty, Kazakhstan, officially opening the city's westward China-Europe freight corridor.

Meanwhile, the recent return train, carrying 51 standard containers with a total of 1,326 tons of wheat bran pellets, completed its nine-day journey from Kazakhstan to Xinjie Station in Ejin Horoo Banner, making it Ordos’ first China-Europe freight train to complete its return journey.

The successful entry of this freight train into the bonded zone not only addresses the issue of "empty container returns" for Ordos' China-Europe and Central Asia freight trains but also helps local foreign trade enterprises further reduce transportation costs and shorten delivery cycles.

This is achieved while enjoying the benefits of early tax refunds and bonded tax exemptions provided by the bonded zone' policies.
