The "New Quality Productivity, New Momentum for Development" Ordos Brand Development Conference was held in Dongsheng district of Ordos city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region on June 16.

Representatives from city-wide and external business associations, along with outstanding enterprises at both city and county levels, gathered to discuss new opportunities for brand development and the creation of a promising future.

The conference focused on advantageous and distinctive industries, quality management of small and medium-sized enterprises, and brand creation in the consumer goods, manufacturing, construction, and service industries.

The goal is to build clusters of advantageous enterprises and enhance the reputation of Ordos brands and services.

In recent years, Ordos has implemented a number of measures to assist various industries in stepping up brand creation efforts.

Policies such as the "Implementation Plan for Further Promoting the Trademark Brand Strategy" have been introduced.

Ordos was the first in the region to establish the "Mayor's Quality Award" and launched a three-year action plan for quality award cultivation, including special funds for trademark brand rewards. These efforts have significantly strengthened intellectual property protection and led to remarkable results in brand development.

As of now, Ordos boasts eight well-known Chinese trademarks, nine geographical indication certification trademarks, and 25 Madrid international registered trademarks.

The "Erdos" brand in the Chinese cashmere products industry has exceeded a value of 100 billion yuan ($13.70 billion), and "Yitai" has become the first "Well-Known Chinese Trademark" in the coal industry.
