The Baichuan solar thermal curved mirror production line commenced mass production at the Ordos Carbon-Net Industrial Park in Ordos, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on June 18.

Inner Mongolia Baichuan Solar Thermal Technology Co is a tech enterprise in the new energy equipment manufacturing sector and established a presence in the Mengsu Economic Development Zone in December 2022, filling a significant gap in the region's solar thermal equipment manufacturing industry.

The newly operational curved mirror workshop spans an area of 10,000 square meters and boasts an annual production capacity of 3.5 million sq m.

The curved mirrors, which track and follow sunlight, directly convert solar energy into thermal energy. They are not only pivotal in solar thermal power generation but also find extensive applications in industrial energy conservation, seawater desalination, heating, flexible transformation of thermal power, and oil extraction.

Inner Mongolia Baichuan Solar Thermal Technology Co has invested in various solar thermal demonstration projects in Ordos, including household heating for farmers, gatehouses and herders. The technology has proven to be stable and reliable even in extremely cold weather conditions.

Additionally, the company has successfully passed assessments in energy consumption, energy consumption structure, and energy efficiency, earning a zero-carbon factory certification.
