The education and sports bureau of Otog Banner of Ordos signed a cooperation agreement with Tsinghua University on July 10, successfully incorporating high-quality educational resources from the university's academy of arts and design.

As one of China's top art institutions, Tsinghua University's Academy of Arts and Design boasts exceptional faculty, advanced teaching practices, and a wealth of educational resources.

This collaboration is a significant joint effort to elevate the standards of art education and marks a crucial initiative within the "Early Discovery and Targeted Training Program for Artistic Talent in Otog Banner."

Otog Banner will leverage the professional advantages and academic resources of the academy to cultivate better art teachers, refine the art education curriculum, conduct research on art education topics, and establish an integrated and comprehensive educational pathway for students who are interested in art, from elementary to high school levels.

By establishing a scientific selection mechanism, potential talent in art education will be identified early on, and personalized training programs will be tailored to them.

Regular arrangements will be made for professors and experts from the academy to teach in Otog Banner, and outstanding students will be enrolled in professional courses at the academy. This will not only nurture students' aesthetic abilities and artistic literacy but also open up more avenues for their future development.

In the upcoming autumn semester, Otog Banner First Middle School will establish one art-focused class, with plans to enroll 40 students. Art-related education at the school will be led by Lyu Dongrun, a distinguished graduate of the academy.
