The world's largest milk skin has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records. This record-breaking milk skin, created in Galutu town of Ordos city, is a testament to the town's dairy craftsmanship.

The milk skin covered an area of 9.58 square meters, measuring 4.94 meters in length and 1.94 meters in width. It contained 1,000 kilograms of milk and 30 kg of cream and took over four days to make.

Galutu town has a long history of producing milk skins. Its unique techniques create delicious flavors that are rich in nutritional value.

"We have discovered that there is significant potential for the development of this traditional food. However, we need opportunities to revitalize this traditional industry," said Wang Minjing, deputy head of Galutu town.

She explained that the purpose of creating the world's largest milk skin was to raise awareness about milk skin and, by extension, the dairy industry.

"It is delicate and sweet, melting in your mouth like ice cream from the prairie," said one of the attendees at the certification event as they tasted the milk skin.

This record-breaking giant milk skin has increased the popularity of this traditional delicacy and established Galutu town as the "Milk Skin Town".

In Galutu town, milk skin can be enjoyed in various ways: sandwiched between slices of bread, paired with fried rice and jam, or even boiled in milk tea. It is a staple for both everyday meals and special occasions.

It is also an intangible cultural heritage that carries the emotional memories of generations of farmers and herders.
