During the national two sessions, Wang Zhen, an National People's Congress deputy and president of Ordos Investment Holding Group, made a suggestion to boost market demand in the textile industry through consumer subsidies.

She also suggested extending subsidies to the raw material sector, particularly for high-quality, eco-friendly, and technology-driven materials, to increase farmers' and herders' incomes.

This initiative aims to stimulate domestic consumption, enhance market resilience, and mitigate risks from global market fluctuations, contributing to the high-quality development of China’s textile industry.

Wang highlighted her company's unique advantage in the cashmere industry, which boasts a fully integrated supply chain from pasture to retail, ensuring quality and sustainability.

The company has established and implemented a comprehensive green standard across all stages – from raw materials and production to packaging, logistics, retail, and after-sales service. Its green design, manufacturing, and products have received national and international recognition. These innovations are shared with herders through free training and services, fostering community-driven development.

"For years, we have implemented a premium subsidy policy for high-quality raw materials, offering additional payments on top of market prices," Wang said. "This boosts herders’ incomes and ensures a stable supply of top-grade materials for the industry's sustainable growth."
