Mengfa Group and Shanghai Fosun Health Technology Co signed a cooperation agreement on May 10 for a large-scale healthcare service project in Ordos city's Ejin Horoo Banner, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan ($136.98 million).

The deal marks a significant step for the banner in optimizing medical resource distribution and improving public well-being.

The project will be located in the Haida Building and will feature three major sectors, as well as 10 specialized centers.

Key facilities include a 36,000-square-meter general outpatient department, a 5,000-sq-m maternity care center, and a 55,000-sq-m health management apartment complex.

Equipped with cutting-edge technologies, including the GE 3.0T MRI and 256-slice CT scanner, the project aims to meet the growing and diversified healthcare needs of the local population.
