Ordos' first integrated "solar-storage-charging" demonstration station, located in the administrative center of Dalou new district in Juungar Banner, has been completed and is currently undergoing equipment testing. The station is expected to begin operations soon.
The station adopts an innovative solution that seamlessly combines photovoltaic (PV) power generation, energy storage systems, and smart charging infrastructure. This integration creates a clean, efficient, and intelligent energy loop powered by solar energy, reducing reliance on traditional power sources.
The station features a PV system with a total installed capacity of 80.85 kilowatts, generating approximately 118,000 kilowatt-hours annually and reducing carbon emissions by about 118 metric tons per year. A 720 kW energy storage unit captures excess solar power, ensuring stable operations even at night and during adverse weather.
The site is equipped with four Huawei ultra-fast liquid-cooled charging piles with a peak power output of 600 kW, capable of fully charging a vehicle in about 10 minutes. Additionally, eight Huawei fast chargers with a peak power of 250 kW can fully charge a vehicle in around 30 minutes. The station offers 20 charging spots, supporting uninterrupted 24/7 charging for up to 20 vehicles simultaneously.
