A delegation of more than 200 representatives from leading domestic media outlets, social media platforms, academia, and tech enterprises visited multiple sites across Ordos on Oct 14 to explore the city's new high-quality development practices.

The tour began at the Ordos Modern Cashmere Industrial Park, where participants witnessed the integration of traditional cashmere production with modern technology. At CRRC Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co's Mengxi branch, the group examined the full industrial chain of "wind-solar-hydrogen-storage-vehicle" new energy projects.

They also visited the Tianjiao Green Energy 500MW Photovoltaic Project, located in a coal mining subsidence area in Ejin Horoo Banner, to study how ecological restoration and clean energy development can go hand in hand.

The delegation later toured the Ordos Cultural Industry Park and the Carbon Neutrality Institute's demonstration base for new energy intelligent vehicles, gaining a comprehensive understanding of local progress in cultural integration and cutting-edge green technologies.

Through on-site visits and in-depth discussions, participants gained first-hand insights into Ordos' achievements in cultural-tourism integration, industrial transformation, green development, and technological innovation. Many expressed their intention to share Ordos' successful practices and experiences as models for China's high-quality development.
