The world's leading 720V high-voltage solid-state sodium-salt battery, a breakthrough in clean energy manufacturing, recently entered mass production in Ordos' Dalad Banner, with a daily output of 300 kWh.

A joint project between Shanghai Arohora Energy Technology and the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, an affiliate of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was inaugurated in August 2023. With a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan ($491.57 million), the project was planned for completion across three phases.

The first investment phase of 500 million yuan covers the construction of facilities for powder production, ceramic tube fabrication, metal-ceramic sealing, cathode material manufacturing, and PACK assembly. The project is currently in the trial production stage, marking a key step toward full-scale commercialization of next-generation sodium battery technology.

At the production workshop of Inner Mongolia Jianheng Arohora Technology, highly automated assembly lines operate at full speed. The first-phase project features four fully self-developed production lines equipped with AI-powered visual inspection, robotic precision assembly, and a digital twin system. Over 300 sub-processes and 1,000 automated actions are integrated, marking a new benchmark for intelligent manufacturing.

The solid-state sodium-salt batteries manufactured at this facility combine exceptional safety with high specific energy, superior Coulombic efficiency, low cost, and environmental friendliness. These attributes make them ideally suited for a range of applications, including distributed energy storage, emergency power systems, and dual-use (civilian and military) applications.
