Construction of the olefin project in Dalad Banner of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region is progressing smoothly.

The project has received a total investment of 9.83 billion yuan ($1.38 billion) and is designed to produce 800,000 metric tons of olefin per year.

By adopting the latest patented technologies and advanced energy-saving processes, the project will further promote the clean and efficient use of local coal resources and advance the full-chain development of the coal-based chemical industry in Ordos.

Once completed and operational, it is expected to achieve an annual industrial output value of 6.67 billion yuan and an added value of 2.08 billion yuan.
