Qipanjing Industrial Park was named among China's Top 70 Competitive Chemical Industry Parks list thanks to its strong performance in industrial clustering, green and safe development, technological innovation, and overall efficiency.
The announcement was made at the 2025 China Chemical Industry Park Development Conference in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province. Qipanjing Industrial Park, located in Ordos city, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is the only park from Inner Mongolia to make the list.
The selection, organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, serves as an authoritative benchmark for evaluating the comprehensive development of chemical parks nationwide. The evaluation system covers key indicators such as economic scale, infrastructure, environmental protection, and safety management.
Building on this recognition, the Ordos park plans to align more closely with national standards, further optimize its industrial layout, enhance innovation, and accelerate green, low-carbon, and digital transformation. The park aims to become a leading chemical industry hub in China and a strong driver of high-quality regional economic growth.
