Ordos enterprises made a strong appearance at the 18th Europe-China Business and Technology Cooperation Fair in Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan province.

As a key hub for opening-up and international economic cooperation, the Ordos Council for the Promotion of International Trade organized a delegation of three leading local companies to showcase the city's strengths in green agriculture and specialty light industries, building a platform for tapping into European markets.

The fair brought together representatives from over 20 countries, along with well-known Chinese and international companies such as China Three Gorges Corporation and AstraZeneca. Discussions and matchmaking focused on major fields including energy and environmental protection, the digital economy, agriculture, and food.

Guided by Ordos' strategy to develop four world-class industries, the Ordos council selected Mengtai Group – an industry leader in green agriculture – and renowned cashmere producers Dongfeiyan and Arbulodi to join the delegation, ensuring close alignment with European market demand.

The delegation's participation in the event marks a step forward for Ordos in advancing its "Regional Cooperation Deepening Initiative" and "Enterprise Support Initiative," and reflects the city's commitment to promoting the internationalization of its distinctive industries.

Looking ahead, the Ordos council will help more Ordos enterprises expand globally, participate in Belt and Road cooperation, and cultivate new drivers of foreign trade growth.
