As of Dec 3, the Ordos Red Cross Society had received 154,000 yuan ($22,000) in donations from five local companies and individuals to support relief efforts following the fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, Hong Kong.

The funds will be used for emergency assistance, resettlement, and post-disaster recovery.

Donors include Inner Mongolia Rongtong Energy Group, Inner Mongolia Jinchangcheng Engineering Project Management Co, couples Yang Bo and Du Juan, Liu Sucheng, among others.

In addition, the Inner Mongolia Women and Children's Foundation, together with female entrepreneurs and other philanthropists in the region, has donated 2 million yuan to affected residents of Wang Fuk Court.

Of this amount, 1.2 million yuan was contributed by Wang Zhen of Erdos Investment Holding Group. All funds were transferred to the China Women's Development Foundation on Nov 28.
