Qiu Jiali, an athlete from Ordos Sports Vocational School, claimed gold in the women's 15-kilometer individual event at the 2025–2026 National Biathlon Championships, which recently opened at Liangcheng International Ski Resort.

The event was hosted by the Winter Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and organized by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Sports Bureau.

A total of 155 athletes from 13 teams representing Hebei, Liaoning, Gansu, Heilongjiang, Ningxia, Qinghai, Guizhou, Jilin, Sichuan, and Inner Mongolia competed in the championships.

The competition featured 11 events across men's, women's, and mixed categories. The men's program included the 10 km sprint, 20 km individual, 12.5 km pursuit, 15 km mass start, and 4×7.5 km relay, while the women's program comprised the 7.5 km sprint, 15 km individual, 10 km pursuit, 12.5 km mass start, and 4×6 km relay.
