The activities included an exhibition of cultural heritage on poverty relief, a handicraft competition, and a cultural heritage experience day at Nishan Academy.

During the opening ceremony, the head of the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture, Xu Xianghong, and other leaders granted rewards to people and facilities which have made great contributions to preserving cultural heritage as well as carrying out traditional handcrafts across the province.
