Shuttle bus connects Tai'an Railway Station with Mount Tai

The Mount Tai management committee recently joined hands with Tai'an municipal ministry of transport and the city's transportation group to roll out a special shuttle bus service connecting Tai'an Railway Station with Mount Tai, in order to provide more convenient and efficient services for visitors, Mount-tai.com.cn reported.

The Mount Tai management committee also set up a ticket window at the Tai'an Railway Station.

A two-month trial was run from April 29, where 7,128 tickets to Mount Tai and 2,875 shuttle bus fares were sold. The buses carried 21,009 tourists back and forth from the railway station to Mount Tai over the course of the trial.

Wang Yuxin, a tourist from Urumqi, the regional capital of Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, bought six combo tickets at Tai'an Railway Station on July 5. She praised the service, saying that it was very convenient being able to purchase the shuttle tickets as soon as she got off the train.

The special shuttle bus route will be put into operation officially in the coming days.
