Tai'an delegates discuss report of Shandong provincial Party congress

The 12th Shandong Provincial Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) opened in Jinan, the provincial capital of East China's Shandong province, on May 28.

Members of the delegation from Tai'an discussed a report delivered by Li Ganjie, Party chief of Shandong province.

Yang Hongtao, Party secretary of Tai'an, said that the city will focus on six core objectives, including new industrialization, Yellow River strategy, cultural and tourism integration, urban upgrading, rural vitalization, and common prosperity, in accordance with the report's content.

Zhang Tao, mayor of Tai'an, noted that the city will increase its efforts in a number of areas, including boosting scientific and technological innovation, industry, and investment, improving the business and ecological environments, and promoting overall rural vitalization and ensuring people's livelihood.

The delegates had a lively discussion about the report and expressed their support for it.
