On Aug 9, almost three months ahead of schedule, the Huangdao-Haiyan Highway (G341) restoration project from the Dongfucun bridge to the Pingyin boundary section was finished and opened to traffic.

The Dongfucun bridge - Pingyin boundary section, located in Feicheng, Tai'an, has a maintenance distance of 25.71 kilometers, upholding the standard of first-class highways with a designed speed of 80 kilometers per hour.

The repair job started on May 7, and almost 200 builders, over 20 technical management staff members, and 11 large-scale pieces of equipment were all involved.

The successful completion of the project helps improve the road's quality and the commuting efficiency of pedestrians and vehicles, which is of great importance to local economic development because G341 is a crucial component of the comprehensive highway network in Feicheng, according to officials.
