Fourteen international students from countries including India, Pakistan, and Morocco visited Tai'an Tourism Economic Development Zone to experience traditional Chinese culture.

The students were impressed by the hanfu, a traditional Chinese style of clothing, at a costume culture experience museum in Taishan Show Park and could not wait to try them on.

"It is my first time to see such beautiful clothes, and there are so many different styles to choose," said Wijdane Benlasri, who is from Morocco.

Dressed in hanfu, the students walked around blocks featuring folk cultural food and intangible cultural heritage items, exploring Tai'an's past in an immersive way.

The students also planted trees voluntarily during the event. India native Aniruddh Rawat said that through the tree-planting activity, he felt the efforts that the city had made to improve its ecological environment.

"Tai'an is a beautiful city with a prosperous history, and I love the magnificent Mount Tai," Rawat added.
