During their stay, the delegation visited Mount Tai, the most famous of the "Five Great Mountains" in China, and the Dai Temple at the foot of the mountain. They also enjoyed a performance of Fengshan sacrificial rites that used to be conducted by emperors on Mount Tai.

"Asti has beautiful scenery and a long history. It is also Italy's agricultural products distribution center, while the industries for silk weaving, machinery, chemicals, and food processing are prosperous," said Rasero, who hopes that Asti and Tai'an will boost cooperation in cultural exchanges, people-to-people exchanges and economy and trade.
