Recently, six expats visited Daicun Dam Museum in Tai'an's Dongping county, learning about the building history of the dam and enjoying boating on Dongping Lake. 

The expats visited exhibition zones showcasing the dam's construction, scientific water control, and water control celebrities. The group was impressed by the subtle design and the magnificence of the Daicun Dam, which boasts a long history of over 600 years.

They also took a paddleboat around Dongping Lake, the only remaining water area mentioned in the famous Chinese novel Water Margin. Additionally, the group enjoyed viewing the beautiful lotus blossoms, birds, and ducks flying by and felt relieved with relaxation under the subtle breeze. They also got the chance to try oaring the paddleboat, which is a craft requiring skills under guidance. 

Nguyen Thi Ha from Vietnam was pleased about the trip to Dongping. "We took the paddleboat to travel around Dongping Lake and enjoyed the amazing scenery. I would like to visit again," she said.
