The "Sino-Greek International Joint Laboratory for Quality Control and Smart Manufacturing of Livestock and Poultry Food", established by Shandong Agricultural University (SDAU) and Agricultural University of Athens (AUA), was unveiled at AUA on July 5.

Xu Jianbo, Party sectary of SDAU, and Spyridon Kintzios, president of AUA, unveiled the nameplate for the joint laboratory and signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement.

The two universities will align with the Belt and Road Initiative through the joint laboratory to provide solutions for food safety and high-quality agricultural products trade to contribute to the mutual benefit and win-win cooperation in developing intelligent agriculture and the food industry between China and Europe.
