Intl students explore popular Tai'an village

A dozen international students from Shandong First Medical University visited Wanglinpo village in Tai'an and experienced the history, culture, and environment of the popular village.

The international students walked along the enchanting Wenhe River corridor, admiring landscapes like the fountains and a large hanging pot.

They also learned about the village's efforts in rural vitalization in these years, turning an once garbage ditch place into the picturesque Qingquan Bay and achieving a remarkable transformation from a village to a scenic spot.

"I am very happy to visit the beautiful village, and China's rural areas develop very fast. I would like to share this experience with other students and my family," said a student from Pakistan.

With the guidance of local farmers, the international students also tried strawberry seedlings and picked up blueberries in Wanglinpo village.

In recent years, Wanglinpo village explored its cultural and regional resources, such as ancient springs and a battle site, to have planned diverse cultural areas, which attract numerous visitors every day, turning the village into a well-known must-visit village, according to Wang Hongjun, Party secretary of the village.
