The documentary Mount Tai was broadcast on Oct 9 on CCTV-2. The show will also be aired from Oct 11 on the Chinese, American, and European channels of Phoenix Satellite Television.

The documentary is a deep dive into Qilu culture and part of efforts to promote the creative transformation and innovative development of traditional Chinese culture.

Featuring a host of personal stories of contemporary Chinese, the show presents the iconic events that took place during the development and the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture.

The six episodes, each spanning 50 minutes, interpret Mount Tai from the perspectives of nature, history, culture, folklore, philosophy, and aesthetics, and highlight the unique value of this mount and how it has served as a carrier for China's spirit and wisdom.

The documentary took more than a year to complete, with shoots carried out in multiple countries, including China, Japan, South Korea, the United States and France.

The documentary premiered on Shandong TV on New Year's Day in 2023 and was well-received by the audience.
