Tai'an in East China's Shandong province, where the famous Mount Tai is located, launched new shuttle buses at the Taishan Tianping Lake Tourist Center on July 6, aiming to offer better services to tourists.

The tourist center is located at the Taishan Tianping Lake Tourist Resort. The new shuttle bus operates two main routes and follows a bidirectional operating model. The center is a 10-minute drive from Tai'an Station, and visitors arriving in Tai'an by high-speed rail can take a tourist bus to the center and then board the shuttle bus to reach Mount Tai directly.

The exterior design of the new shuttle bus features the core elements of Tai'an's city mascot - Gangan and Dangdang, with the tagline "Follow Gangan and Dangdang to tour Mount Tai". Adopting a hand-drawn style, the majestic aura of Mount Tai is outlined on the bus, with the drifting clouds and mist between the mountains complementing the pine and cypress trees, showcasing the profound and magnificent beauty of Mount Tai. The magnificent scenery of Mount Tai is cleverly integrated with cultural elements, displaying the grand beauty of the mountain and bringing a beautiful scenic line to the city.

The Taishan Tianping Lake Tourist Resort is home to Tianping Lake Park, Shigandan Cultural Park, branded hotels, and homestays. If visitors choose to climb Mount Tai during the day, they can enjoy a variety of different foods, watch exciting live performances, and camp by Tianping Lake to stargaze at night at the tourist resort. Those interested in climbing Mount Tai at night can hang out to their heart's content at the tourist resort during the day, have dinner, and then take the new shuttle bus to Zhongtianmen for the ascent.

In recent years, Tai'an has been taking full advantage of its cultural and tourism attractions and has vigorously implemented the strategy of integrating culture and tourism. Official data showed that in the first half of this year, the number of visitors to Mount Tai reached 4 million, approaching the total for the entire year of 2019, indicating positive development trends at other tourist attractions as well.
