The Daibei Square in Tai'an recently came alive with the sound of beating drums and gongs as folk storytelling teams, organized by the Taishan district bureau of culture and tourism, held a lively parade.

Teams from various regions of the district treated the public to a rich display of traditional folk culture.

Accompanied by drums and gongs, performances such as dragon dances, stilt-walking, and yangko dancing took center stage. Adorned in festive attire, team members moved gracefully, their faces radiant with joy. They engaged in humorous interactions with the surrounding crowd, earning cheers and applause from the audience.

This folk parade in Taishan district served as both a visual extravaganza and a significant platform for the preservation and promotion of China's rich traditional culture. Through a diverse range of folk performances, the public not only experienced the allure of traditional culture but gained a stronger sense of cultural confidence, embracing the Year of the Snake full of hope.

Moving forward, Taishan district will continue to delve deeper into the preservation of China's outstanding traditional culture. The district will organize culturally enriching activities that are more varied and enjoyable for the public, further enhancing the spiritual and cultural lives of the community.
