In recent times, Tai'an city has emphasized comprehensive planning and top-level design, strategically realigning and professionally integrating municipal cultural and tourism enterprises with those under the jurisdiction of Taishan Mountain. On March 27, 2024, the establishment of the new Taishan Cultural Tourism Group was formally announced.
Since the previous year, the Taishan Cultural Tourism Group has been dedicated to transitioning from a ticket-based economy to a more holistic economic model, with the objective of cultivating new growth opportunities within the culture and tourism sector and stimulating associated consumer spending.
With a focus on the synergy between the mountains and the city, Tai'an city is spearheading efforts, including the creation of the Hongmenli district. This district acts as a hub for cultural and tourism endeavors, encompassing six distinct projects. These initiatives range from immersive travel experiences to Taishan Mountain, unique Tai'an cuisine establishments, the fusion of wedding ceremonies with the essence of Taishan Mountain, to a premium specialty supermarket showcasing the finest local products from Tai'an. Through these initiatives, Tai'an is promoting integrated development between its mountainous landscapes and urban regions, offering visitors a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity to explore and enjoy.
