Tai'an promotes culture, tourism in South Korea
Tai'an, Shandong province hosted a cultural tourism promotion conference in Seoul, South Korea on March 24. Through activities such as showcasing cultural and tourism offerings and signing strategic cooperation agreements, the event comprehensively presented the unique charm of Taishan Mountain to locals.
During the event, Li Feng, deputy director of the Taishan Mountain scenic area management committee, gave a special presentation on the scenic area, inviting South Korean tourists to experience Taishan Mountain, the sacred mountain that has witnessed 5,000 years of Chinese history.
Feng Nengbin, vice-mayor of Tai'an, stated that China and South Korea have a long history of exchanges. With the implementation of China's visa-free entry policy for South Koreans, a new chapter in cultural and tourism exchanges between the two countries has begun.
Tai'an will take this promotion conference as an opportunity to strengthen cultural and tourism exchanges and cooperation, achieve complementary advantages and mutual benefits, and promote higher-level cooperation between the two sides, Feng added.
Furthermore, the conference featured a South Korean version of the Taian cultural and tourism promotional video, deepening South Koreans' understanding of Tai'an and Taishan Mountain.
Meanwhile, a photography exhibition showcased nearly 30 images of Tai'an's landscapes and cultural themes, bringing a cultural and tourism feast to the local people.
