Kistler establishes first local workshop in Pudong
Kistler, a global market leader in dynamic pressure, force, torque, and acceleration measurement technology, recently announced the completion of its NCFE servo press assembly workshop in Shanghai's Pudong New Area, marking a significant milestone in the company's localization in China.
The servo press assembly workshop will enhance service response speeds and shorten delivery times. With the localization of its core products, Kistler aims to fully support the rapid product iterations of Chinese automotive manufacturers.
Rolf Sonderegger, CEO of Kistler Group, said that the new workshop represents another important step in the company's strategy in China. Beyond localized production, Kistler also plans to accelerate localized research and development, innovating through flexible customization to transform its core products into "Made in China" innovations.
The servo press systems produced at the new workshop are crucial for ensuring precision and reliability in the assembly processes of both traditional and new energy vehicles. The localization of these systems is expected to reduce delivery times by up to 50 percent, catering to the fast-paced production demands of Chinese automakers.
Furthermore, Kistler emphasizes the importance of localized research and development, aiming to quickly develop solutions tailored to the needs of Chinese customers. The strategy not only supports cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency but also aligns with the sustainable development goals of reducing carbon emissions.
With China's new energy vehicle market growing faster than the global average, Kistler's localized production and research and development strategies are poised to strengthen its position in the Chinese market, further enhancing its global presence and innovation capabilities.
