Design Shanghai 2025 to return in June
Design Shanghai, Asia's authoritative design event, has announced that its 12th edition will be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in Pudong New Area from June 4 to 7. Since its inception, Design Shanghai has attracted over 2,600 design brands and more than 640,000 professional visitors from around the world, witnessing the growth and integration of China's design capabilities.

This year, Design Shanghai 2025 will showcase elite designs from over 600 brands in more than 30 countries and regions. It will include four major categories: furniture & lighting design, kitchen, bathroom & integrated design, new materials & applications, and lifestyle & accessory design. It will also feature seven special curations, including TALENTS, Neooold, Re:Materialize, Made in JDZ, Beyond Craft Japan, Collectible Design & Art, and Materials First.

The forums held during the event will include three major conferences: Design Shanghai Global Design Conference, Healthy Habitat Design Forum, and CMF Forum, bringing together over 200 design pioneers. With a focus on human-centered design, the Design Shanghai Global Design Conference will gather authoritative figures in the global design field to discuss how design can enhance human well-being through six core themes.
Design Shanghai 2025 aims to provide architects, interior designers, real estate developers, retailers, and private buyers with more design inspiration. Brands such as BULO from Belgium and Formitalia from Italy will showcase the latest trends in modern furniture and lighting design. The kitchen, bathroom & integrated design section will showcase intelligent and customized home solutions, while the new materials & applications section will focus on the intersection of material science and design practice.
