Located in Zhuqiao town, Pudong New Area, Shanghaidong Railway Station is a landmark project designed to serve national strategies and Shanghai's long-term development. With a construction area of over 1.3 million square meters, including a 160,000-sq-m high-speed railway station building, the station will integrate national railways, regional railways, urban rail transit, and shuttle services upon completion.
Inspired by Shanghai's city flower, the white magnolia, the station design embodies the city's culture and dynamic spirit, adding both elegance and vitality to its architectural landscape. The project aims to create an efficient and convenient hub by integrating multiple modes of transit into a unified operational service system.

Shanghaidong Railway Station is scheduled to open in July 2027, connecting multiple high-speed railway lines and serving as a world-class transportation hub, strengthening links between the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region and the world, complemented by Shanghai Hongqiao Hub.
Furthermore, the Eastern Hub International Business Cooperation Zone is also accelerating its construction. With a planned investment of approximately 4 billion yuan ($550.75 million), a major commercial project has commenced this month in front of Shanghaidong Railway Station. This includes a commercial complex, a five-star hotel, and premium office space, creating a vibrant business and commercial ecosystem.
The Oriental Hub aims to become a global platform for international business exchanges, a hub for resource aggregation, and a key node in the YRD region for promoting integration.
