The AI Business Scenario Challenge, one of three challenges this year, welcomes AI companies who already have a product in the fields of medicine, finance, or smart cities and may meet the needs of the AI scenarios provided on www.aiwin.org.cn.

Applicants can register as a company and then submit documentation along with any supplemental materials such as demo videos on the website. The application deadline is May 25 (Beijing time).

The Elite Challenge is for university students and young developers between the ages of 16 and 35 years old. It is divided into two categories, one of which focuses on the detection of masks on faces during the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic. Participants are asked to develop an algorithm that can detect people not wearing masks, particularly in large crowds.

The other category is related to fashion and style, and asks participants to employ more AI technology in malls to help deliver contactless services by developing new algorithms that can automatically recommend fashion styles to customers based upon their current style.

Applicants should sign up as a team and compete on an online leaderboard. The application deadline is May 18 (Beijing time).

The Industry QC Challenge is open to college students, developers, and companies dedicated to AI deep learning and other fields related to design algorithms. It asks participants to solve problems related to steel manufacturing by classifying and locating specific defects, such as watermarks and cracks on surfaces of steel plates in the cold rolling process.

Applicants for this challenge should also sign up as a team and compete on an online leaderboard. The application deadline is June 20 (Beijing time).

Winners of the AIWIN will be recommended as candidates for the SAIL (Superior AI Leader) award, the highest honor of the World AI Conference, and will have more opportunities to attend AI forums and road shows to promote their AI projects.

In addition, experts at the event will provide enterprises with comprehensive guidance on business management, project technology, investment, and financing strategies. They will also offer advice to young developers.
