Four cities in North China's Shanxi province are included in the "National Logistics Hub Layout Optimization and Adjustment Plan", which was revealed by the National Development and Reform Commission on Feb 10.

Among the cities designated for national logistics hub planning, Shanxi features Taiyuan, Datong, and Linfen as inland port-type hubs and Taiyuan and Changzhi as production service-type hubs, with Changzhi being a newly added hub. Taiyuan is also listed among 53 designated cities that are commercial service-type national logistics hubs.

This optimization and adjustment plan now encompasses 152 national logistics hub cities, with the construction of 229 hubs. This initiative aims to enhance the balanced development of the national logistics hub network and improve the modern logistics operational system of "corridors, hubs, and networks".

The National Development and Reform Commission will guide the designated cities in advancing the high-quality construction of national logistics hubs. It will coordinate with relevant departments to strengthen support for natural resource assurance, investment, and financing, enhancing the comprehensive service capabilities and operational efficiency of these hubs.
