The Standing Committee of the Shanxi Provincial People's Congress organized Shanxi's deputies to the National People's Congress (NPC) to conduct three inspections in preparation for attending the third session of the 14th National People's Congress.

The inspections focus on major infrastructure construction, the integration of industry, academia, and research in higher education institutions, enterprise transformation and upgrading, and technological innovation.

The delegates conducted on-site inspections of multiple enterprises and projects, listened to opinions and suggestions, and discussed, deliberated, and drafted proposals based on this foundation.

They unanimously expressed their commitment to fulfilling their duties and responsibilities in alignment with the overall goal of high-quality development. They emphasized the importance of considering Shanxi's realities, especially the insights gained during the inspections, when putting forward substantial and valuable motions at the session.

Wang Chun, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the Shanxi Provincial People's Congress, emphasized the need to focus on key issues concerning high-quality development and modernization in Shanxi. He urged Shanxi delegates to seek support and assistance at the national level for various aspects of Shanxi's work and make Shanxi's contribution to advancing Chinese-style modernization.
