A batch of 180 kilograms of fresh strawberries from Jiangxian county in Yuncheng, Shanxi province, was exported to the United Arab Emirates under the supervision of Yuncheng Customs, a branch of Taiyuan Customs.

This marks the first time strawberries from Shanxi province have been exported, bringing the total number of the province's fruit export varieties to 15.

To facilitate strawberry exports, Yuncheng Customs established a special task force. The team guided enterprises in building a full-chain quality control system, supported the cultivation base in obtaining export registration on June 19, 2025, and reinforced testing for pesticide residues, heavy metals, and other factors to ensure compliance with international quality and safety standards.

The special task force closely monitored trade policies in the Middle East, advising enterprises on how to optimize packaging labels and improve traceability management, moving from "meeting export standards" to "high-quality exports".

Additionally, a "green channel" for agricultural exports was opened, implementing facilitation measures such as "smart inspections" and appointment-based checks, reducing clearance time for perishable goods and ensuring the freshness of strawberries.
