An autumn job fair was recently successfully held in Yangquan city in Shanxi province, according to local officials. 

The Municipal Talent Center provided free venues and various services for employers and job seekers.

It set up consulting areas to provide policy advice, career guidance, internship registration and ability assessments for college graduates and talent -- with more than 400 visitors receiving some form of service. 

A total of 45 companies and institutes offered 186 jobs in education, accounting, medical insurance, construction, real estate, machinery and equipment manufacturing. 

The positions were in sales, administration, personnel logistics, finance, computers, logistics and the design sector.

Over 600 job seekers attended the fair, of whom around 150 got preliminary employment offers.
