A signing ceremony for Huixing Modern Aquaculture and Agriculture Industrial Park took place in Jiaoqu district, in Yangquan city on Dec 17, according to local officials. 

Covering more than 10 hectares -- near Baoxin Modern Farm in Daxizhuang village in Jiaoqu district – the new park is being funded and constructed by Beijing Qiangsheng Huixing Investment Management Co, with an investment of 120 million yuan ($17.13 million). 

The first phase of the project, expected to go into operation in June 2020, includes 20 modern hoggeries, an eco-friendly manure treatment facility, a breeding workshop and a disinfection workshop. 

The second phase of the park will be constructed from September 2020 to September 2021, officials said. 

It will have modern fruit and vegetable greenhouses, a modern agricultural harvesting demonstration garden and a special agricultural park and facilities for visitors to have farm life experiences.
