Yangquan Coal Industry Group, based in Yangquan city, ranked 24th in a list of the top 500 Chinese energy companies in 2019, recently released by China energy news and the China Institute of Energy Economics Research.

The annual list, which was initiated in 2011, is based on the previous year's operating revenue of energy companies.

Over the past year, Yangquan Coal Industry Group had focused on safe, green and intelligent mining – as well as clean, efficient and low carbon utilization of mineral resources and innovation.

The group has invested in and constructed a series of emerging industrial projects, involving new materials and the new energy sectors.
