Free online courses offered to students in Yangquan

Yangquan Affiliated School of the Shanghai Yixue Education Group has been offering free online courses to primary and middle school students in Yangquan city in northern Shanxi province since Feb 1 – amid current efforts to contain and control the novel coronavirus outbreak, officials said.

The group has developed a series of online personalized courses adopting artificial intelligence technology.

A company spokesman said that to help the city's students learn at home, the Yangquan affiliated school will provide students with maths, Chinese, English, physics and chemistry courses worth a total of 100,000 yuan ($14,263) per day free of charge until the epidemic caused by the virus ends.
