Yangquan seeks partners in digital economy in South China

The 2022 Shanxi Yangquan • Pearl River Delta Digital Economy Scenario Release Conference was held in Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province, on July 13. 

The event was hosted by authorities in the city of Yangquan in North China's Shanxi province. 

Through scenario release, project promotion, and communication, the event aimed to build a business matchmaking and cooperation platform, attract more benchmark digital economy industrial projects to Yangquan, and share new opportunities for the development of the digital economy.

At the press conference, leaders of Baidu's intelligent driving business group, Yangquan Digital Technology Industry Development Co, and Shanghai Gaussian Robotics Co gave speeches on the digital economy. 

Yangquan released 29 application scenarios in eight major fields including smart city, autonomous driving, smart transportation, and industrial ecology, and signed agreements for 16 projects with a total investment of about 9.7 billion yuan ($1.43 billion).
