Yangquan's proposals shine at Shanxi CPPCC session

Since the opening of the third session of the 13th Shanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in Taiyuan on Jan 16, CPPCC Shanxi Committee members from Yangquan have submitted 31 proposals, 27 of which have been officially filed.

To ensure that only high-quality proposals that reflect public sentiment are submitted, the committee members conducted thorough grassroots research and carefully crafted their proposals before attending the session.

Key filed proposals from Yangquan included Suggestions for Harnessing and Utilizing Shanxi's Cultural Resources, Recommendations for Promoting High-Quality Development in the Aluminum Industry, Proposals to Accelerate the Development of Shanxi's Sodium-Ion Battery Industry, as well as Advocacy for Full Network Coverage Along Tourist Highways of the Yellow River, Great Wall, and Taihang Mountains in Shanxi.

Other proposals included Addressing Challenges in Protecting Rights of Workers in New Employment Models to Support Quality Employment, Promoting the Standardized Development of Shanxi's Low-Altitude Economy, Accelerating the Establishment of Shanxi's National Clinical Burn Treatment Specialty Center, and Supporting the Construction of the "First City Founded by the CPC" Patriotic Education Center in Yangquan.

During the session, committee members from Yangquan also submitted seven reports on public opinions and concerns, with two already adopted after review.
