A photo exhibition backed by National Geographic is currently underway at The Hub in Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District, and will run until Feb 26.
Spanning nearly 1,600 square meters on the fourth floor of the shopping mall, the exhibition consists of eight parts with distinctive themes including humanity, animals, and natural scenery. Several award-winning works are being displayed in China for the first time.

"The photos that capture classical historical moments and stunning natural views really broaden my mind," said a visitor surnamed Sun.
Among the crowds of visitors were many parents and children. A man surnamed Xia said that he loves photography and he believes the exhibition can teach his child a lot about the world.
The exhibition is open from 10 am to 10 pm every day, but entry is prohibited after 9:30 pm.
