A job fair was held at both online and offline venues in Xinjing town of Shanghai's Changning district on Feb 10.
Seventy-one companies, including China's e-commerce giant Pinduoduo, online travel platform Ctrip and Bosch took part in the job fair, offering a total of 1,668 positions.
A live-streaming event was also held, during which Zhang Yuan, director general of the human resources bureau of Changning district, and Zhou Yuxiang, deputy director general of the bureau, explained the job requirements, working environment and companies' culture to job seekers.
More than 1,200 job seekers attended the offline fair, 301 of whom reached tentative recruitment agreements. The live-streaming event received more than 32,000 views.
