The Starkinds Children's Hospital, also the New Hongqiao Campus for Children's Hospital of Fudan University, officially started operations on May 27 in the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District.
The hospital provides an extensive range of pediatric services covering general medicine, general surgery, stomatology, brain medicine, otorhinolaryngology-head and neck surgery, ophthalmology, rehabilitation, dermatology, traditional Chinese medicine, and developmental medicine. Additionally, the hospital offers specialized programs such as remote consultation, multi-disciplinary teams, and undiagnosed diseases, ensuring comprehensive and holistic care for young patients.
To mark the hospital's opening and International Children's Day, the hospital carries out a week-long free clinical activity, with nearly 30 experts providing one-stop healthcare services.
The Starkinds Children's Hospital is designed to offer high-quality medical services and health management for those under 18 years old. It also extends the Children's Hospital of Fudan University's international department.
The hospital shares the same management system as the Children's Hospital of Fudan University, which dispatches nearly 20 experts to offer clinical services at the former one.
The Starkinds Children's Hospital has also reached a cooperation agreement with Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children in pushing forward a children's development management program.
