The Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District will host the 2024 China Auto Show from Aug 8 to 11 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).

This year's event will spotlight the latest in smart electric vehicles, providing a one-stop platform for enthusiasts and potential buyers to explore the latest new energy vehicles (NEVs) from leading brands such as Xiaomi, Tesla, BYD, Mercedes-Benz, and Volvo.

Recent statistics show a significant rise in NEV sales, with May's retail figures reaching 804,000 units, reflecting a 38.5 percent year-on-year increase and an 18.7 percent month-on-month growth. Smart electric vehicles are becoming a dominant force in the domestic consumer market.

The show will feature a dedicated stage for smart electric vehicles, a 360-degree immersive experience center, and a unique blend of experiential activities and sales opportunities. Visitors can look forward to:

1. Top Brands: A showcase of premier domestic and international electric vehicle brands.

2. In-Depth Test Drives: Opportunities to experience the performance of smart electric vehicles firsthand.

3. Future Technology Showcases: Insights into advancements in autonomous driving and flying cars.
