The month-long Japan Sake Month event recently came to a successful conclusion, earning praise for its blend of business excellence and cultural heritage.
During the event's exhibition, 108 enterprises showcased over 1,000 SKUs of premium Japanese sake products, from crisp sake to rich shochu. Approximately 2,300 buyers attended, getting lost in the unique flavors of Japanese sake.
In addition, 442 business negotiations took place during the event, resulting in 639 signed project agreements worth an estimated 450 million Japanese yen. These figures highlight the event's commercial success and the growing economic ties between Japan and China.
Fourteen thematic lectures were delivered by industry experts from Japan and China. The presentations covered topics from the historical origins of Japanese sake to modern market trends, providing attendees with valuable insights.
The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), one of the organizers, expressed pride in the event's success in promoting Japanese sake in the Chinese market, and pledged to continue collaborating to enhance Sino-Japanese sake culture exchange and cooperation.
