As the countdown to the seventh China International Import Expo (CIIE) enters the final 80 days, Greenland Group has introduced a slew of measures to enhance services for the event by leveraging its Greenland Global Commodity Trading Hub, a permanent trading service platform for the CIIE.
These measures focus on improving functionality, attracting investment, upgrading the platform, and amplifying the CIIE's spillover effects, aiming to comprehensively support the CIIE for the seventh consecutive year.
The Greenland trading hub will upgrade its commodity resources, exhibition space, and services. Related efforts include enriching product variety, enhancing interactive experiences, upgrading national pavilions, and promoting the night economy with diverse dining options. Seamless connectivity with the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), the CIIE venue, will be ensured during the event.
Greenland Group will also establish 10 new national and two regional pavilions before the CIIE. A 1,200-square-meter medical equipment export area and a 1,000-square-meter Innovation China exhibition area will be set up, featuring top companies and innovative fields. A 1,000-square-meter boutique Chinese products area will showcase renowned brands and cultural products.
At this year's CIIE, Greenland Group will set up the Greenland Global Food Pavilion and the Greenland Global Consumer Goods Pavilion, which have seen the participation of over 50 companies from 20 countries, with more than 60 percent involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
Its booth will include special national zones like Australian Corner and French Corner and will host various activities such as new product launches, live streaming sales, cultural performances, and tasting events.
In addition, procurement agreements and trade signing events, including signing ceremonies for procurement agreements with Silk Road e-commerce partner countries and cooperation agreements for the export of medical equipment under the Belt and Road Initiative, will be facilitated both inside and outside the CIIE venue. Dignitaries from related countries will be invited to participate in key events.
In order to further amplify the CIIE's spillover effects, Greenland Group also plans to promote CIIE tourism, create popular landmarks, enrich the CIIE experience, and enhance its overall impact.
