As the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) draws near, the Greenland Global Commodity Trading Hub, also known as G-Hub, in Shanghai's Hongqiao International Central Business District, is attracting more and more businesses to join its ranks.

A delegation comprised of representatives from four Australian businesses visited G-Hub on Sept 14 and held discussions with Xue Yingjie, the general manager of G-Hub. The two parties engaged in extensive and in-depth conversations on topics such as future cooperation directions and market expansion.

During the meeting, Xue emphasized G-Hub's remarkable results in promoting international trade and cultural exchange since the first CIIE in 2018, as well as its efforts to drive forward the "first store" economy. G-Hub aims to introduce more first stores of Australian and international brands through the CIIE in order to enrich the Chinese market and bring new growth opportunities to businesses.

Greenland Group looks forward to collaborating closely with more renowned Australian companies to jointly promote the "first store" economy, help premium Australian enterprises join the CIIE, and help more new products enter the Chinese market, Xue added.

The four companies signed participation and procurement contracts with G-Hub Group for the 7th CIIE.

During a matchmaking meeting held on the same day, the delegation gained insights into G-Hub's operational strategies, product circulation, and supply chain management. They expressed their excitement about entering the Chinese market and showcased a variety of specialty products such as coffee beans, non-alcoholic wines, nutritional dietary supplements, pistachio butter, and shortbread cookies, hoping to establish a presence in G-Hub and tap into the Chinese market.
